iParenting Media Awards Names iPlay's Lift Off Rocket And Diggity Dog Board Game as Outstanding Products of 2007

Parsippany, NJ (PRWEB) August 25, 2007 -- International Playthings, Inc. (IPI) announces that two of its iPlay products - the Lift Off Rocket and Diggity Dog board game - have been recognized by iParenting's as "Outstanding Products of 2007." All products acknowledged by iParenting are thoroughly evaluated by knowledgeable reviewers to determine which ones meet or exceed iParenting's rigorous standards.

The evaluation process created by the iParenting Media Awards program is so thorough that it has attained certification from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). ISO is the world's largest developer of standardization regulations, and only a fraction of the companies that attempt this certification achieve it.

"It is an honor to have two toys from the iPlay product line selected as this year's Outstanding Products," said Susan Tice, Senior Product Manager and Public Relations Director for International Playthings, Inc. "The iPlay brand comprises a broad range of unique, high-quality, and educational products designed to appeal to children of all ages. The Lift Off Rocket and Diggity Dog board game are excellent examples of that."

Explore outer space with iPlay's Lift Off Rocket, which features lights, sounds and three separate areas of play - a cockpit, living quarters and cargo area. Kids can press the rocket's button to hear the lift off sequence, realistic rocket sounds and see the boosters light up. The Lift Off Rocket playset also includes two astronauts, a space dog, alien, dune buggy and moon crater. The Lift Off Rocket play set, for ages 18 months and up, is available through specialty retailers at a MSRP of $40.00.

Help the puppies find their bones! Diggity Dog by iPlay is a memory board game for children ages three and up. The game is for two to four players and features an electronic barking dog that barks the number of spaces that players must move their puppies. When a player's puppy lands on a space beside a dog bone, the player picks up the bone with the dog's magnetic nose. If the color of the underside of the bone matches the player's puppy, the player gets to move the bone into their puppy's dog house. The Diggity Dog board game is available through specialty retailers at a MSRP of $20.00.

The iParenting Media Awards program was created in response to the challenge that parents face when seeking outstanding products for their families. The iParenting Media Awards are the largest certified and audited evaluation system of children's and parenting products in the industry. Professional reviewers carefully evaluate more than a thousand items, but only the ones that meet or exceed iParenting's high standards receive an iParenting Media Award.

iPlay's Lift Off Rocket and Diggity Dog board game are two of four products distributed by IPI to earn top honors from iParenting this year. Also included are the Earlyears' Animal Shape Sorter and Earlyears' TAGGIES Shaggie Taggies.
